5th Intake Graduates from Cliste Hospitality Leadership Development Programme
Developing strong leadership capability across our hotel clients remains an important part of how we approach long-term performance at Cliste Hospitality, and this week our senior teams gathered in Dublin to mark the graduation of the fifth intake from our Leadership Development Programme.
The programme operates across The iNUA Hotel Collection, Cliste Hospitality’s principal managed hotel portfolio, and was established to identify and develop emerging and established leaders across the hotels. With this year’s graduation, 84 colleagues have now completed the programme since its inception, building capability across leadership, strategy, innovation, talent management and the wider commercial and operational disciplines required to lead increasingly complex hospitality businesses.
Delivered over 12 months, the programme deliberately brings expertise from outside hospitality into the learning environment, exposing participants to different perspectives and approaches to leadership and business. Each candidate is also paired with a senior mentor from across Cliste Hospitality and The iNUA Hotel Collection, providing individual guidance and practical exposure throughout the programme.
Importantly, the programme has translated into progression within the business. Across its five intakes, participants have moved into more senior positions throughout the portfolio, including progression from Deputy General Manager to General Manager and from Spa & Leisure Centre Manager to Deputy General Manager, alongside graduates taking greater responsibility for strategic projects across the group.
The graduation in Dublin on 9 September marked the completion of the programme’s fifth intake and the next stage in its continued development. With preparations now underway for the sixth intake, the Leadership Development Programme will continue to form an important part of Cliste Hospitality’s approach to building leadership capability from within, creating clearer pathways for progression and strengthening the pipeline of talent available to lead hotels across its client portfolio.
