Sustainability for Cliste goes beyond ethical responsibility. For us, it is a driver of innovation and value creation for our properties, clients, investors, stakeholders, and the communities we operate within.
Our approach to sustainability is tri-fold, focusing on Environment, Innovation, and Community. Through these three pillars, we seek to embody our values responsibly to achieve our business goal; serving tomorrow’s hospitality.
At Cliste Hospitality, we are taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint and preserve our communities’ natural resources by using innovative tools, new practices, and stringent standards. Led by our Group Facilities Manager, Andrew Mullen, and a dedicated network of Sustainability Leaders across our portfolio, our award-winning Environmental Management Programme fosters the creation of a more sustainable hospitality model. To better serve our economic and environmental goals, we have set targets for reductions in waste, water, and energy that are aligned with the Governments Climate Action Plan 2021.
In 2018 we created the Environmental Manager of the Year category in our annual Group Management Awards, to foster internal engagement in our strategy across our portfolio.
In 2019 we achieved Eco Label Certification in all our hotels from Green Hospitality Award and we are currently working towards a Gold Award in each property. https://greenhospitality.ie/
In 2021 the iNUA Collection was honored to receive the Excellence in Sustainability Award at the annual Facilities Management Awards.
