voco Belfast, managed by Cliste Hospitality, has achieved four major wins at the 28th Institute of Hospitality Awards in Northern Ireland. Less than 18 months since opening, the hotel was recognised for outstanding leadership, team performance, and talent development. The awards demonstrate Cliste’s commitment to progressing hospitality standards across the island of Ireland and highlight voco Belfast’s rapid impact on the market.
Sean O’Driscoll, chief executive of the The iNUA Collection, has been chosen as The Irish Times Business Person of the Month for August, in association with Bank of Ireland.
During August, the hotel chain reported strong underlying growth in its trading for 2023. Operating profit for the year rose to just under €4m, up from €2.4m in 2022. Its revenues rose by almost 7 per cent to €72.8m.
