Cliste Team welcomes Siobhan Hamilton as Head of Procurement

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Siobhan Hamilton as Head of Procurement at Cliste Hospitality.

Siobhan is a seasoned commercial negotiator and brings with her 22 years’ experience within the FMCG Industry. Starting her career in The Barry Group, she spent 10 years within the Trading Department managing export accounts, Irish Wholesale customers and Key Accounts that contributed to a business delivering over €250m in annual turnover.

She then broadened her commercial experience by taking up a buying role within the company for many years responsible for negotiations with some of Irelands key players in the FMCG Industry including key categories of catering, foodservice, cereals, snacks, and hardware. In addition, she also specialized in alternative sourcing strategies from the import market sector to ensure margin maximization was achieved as part of a broader procurement strategy.

Understanding the important link between procurement and sales, Siobhan delved into sales planning and trade & activation and was ultimately promoted into management roles, delivering commercial awareness and insights to unify both departments to enable further growth.

More recently for the last 3 years Siobhan re-entered the sales division of the Barry Group as Head of Wholesale Sales in a Senior Management role. This role carried the responsibility of managing and supporting a team of 10 account managers nationwide while servicing a very diverse customer base including off-license, high convenience retail and contracts.

Siobhan holds an Honors diploma from MTU in Business in Sales Management and continues her education in UCC this Autumn.
